BUYERS' CLUB

Are you looking for ways to save money on your food shopping, but don't wish to sacrifice quality? While regular store coupons can be handy, organic and all natural products aren't usually discounted, so you end up paying a premium price for the best products. You could consider buying in "bulk" at a "Wholesale Club" to get discounts on food, but big box stores like Sam's Club and BJ's don't always carry the organic and all natural brands you want.  Why not consider a Buyer's Club? A buying club is one of the best ways to save when buying your favorite all natural and organic products because you buy in bulk and pay lower prices per unit.

Located in northern Vermont in downtown Lyndonville in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, The Freighthouse Buying Club is your opportunity to save money on your natural and organic favorites. We have carefully selected the finest certified organic products by assessing each according to our strict standards of quality and organic certification. By purchasing in larger quantities, you'll benefit from bulk discounts while enjoying delicious, wholesome foods.

BUYING IN "BULK"

Not sure if buying in bulk would work for you? Here are a few things to think about as you consider buying food in bulk through a buyer's club:

  1. Do you have adequate storage space?  Dry goods and non-perishable items can be stored in areas that are cool and dry over long periods of time. Fresh foods will need to be stored in a refrigerator or frozen for future use.
  2. If you are short on storage space, why not buy in bulk with family members or a few friends? See if there are products that you all use and order those items through the Buyers' Club.  When the order comes, split the order (and the savings) amongst your group.
  3. You don't have to buy everything in bulk! If there are a few organic or all natural products that you use regularly, start with a single order of that product and see how it goes. It will help you to gauge how much of your food you should buy in bulk in the future.
